Dr. Chad Dains, DDS is the owner and lead dentist at Open Wide La Jolla Dentistry. He has been practicing since 2007 and is known for a calm, honest approach that helps patients feel comfortable and confident in their care.
Dr. Dains takes time to listen to concerns, explain options clearly, and create treatment plans that support long-term oral health—not just quick fixes.

Dr. Dains earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University and his Bachelor of Science from Loyola Marymount University. He is licensed by the Dental Board of California to practice dentistry.

A Southern California native, Dr. Dains lives with his wife, Blake, and their two dogs. Outside the office he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, travel, and exploring local food spots around San Diego.
